R-1 Visa is a temporary religious workers visa, which allow foreign national to be employed by a non-profit religious organization in the United States or in any organization which is affiliated with the religious denomination in the U.S.
THIS TYPE OF VISA IS SUITABLE FOR:
- Members of religious organizations or communities that have conscientious nonprofit type of activity in the U.S.
- Individuals who come to the United States to work as a leader of a religious group or community.
- Nonprofit religious organizations in the United States which are to employ foreign religious workers to work together in different religious vocations such as religious translators, catechists, cantors, religious instructors and others.
